We had a fantastic stay in Maria's beautiful house which was perfect for our family of 5. It is a short bus ride from the centre which means it is nice and quiet - but the free bus travel cards Maria provided meant it was so easy to pop into and out of town with buses running every few minutes. Maria's English is excellent and made good recommendations for trips and restaurants. Her breakfast was also great. Thank you Maria. Best wishes,

The Rittershuus is why people choose to stay at a B&B. The consummate host, Maria, is what you hope for when you book a stay at a B&B. We felt like we were staying with an old friend. The place was spotless. A wonderful local cafe/restaurant was just next door as was the bus stop for a 15 min trip into town. The breakfast was sooo good and beautifully presented. But the best part was our conversations with Maria. We miss her already!

This is a Fabulous 300 yr old historical home in Luzern. The hostess is Maria and she is a wonderful person to stay with. Her Breakfast is delicious and a warm smile to meet in the morning. You certainly should stay here if you get the opportunity
for a relaxing, quiet area. Bus #7 is right across the street and the neighborhood is gorgeous for an evening walk to the water front. I can't wait to return - We loved Maria and her BnB.

Bed & breakfast eccezionale. Ubicato in una antica casa di legno, ma moderno e confortevole all'interno. Il nostro appartamento era composto da due camere e un bagno all'ultimo piano della casa. Arredate semplicemente, ma con gusto e soprattutto con materiali naturali: legno e cotone sono le materie dominanti.
Colazione super! Posizione ottima: disponibilità di posteggio direttamente alla casa e anche nelle vicinanze.
Wi-fi incluso. Piccola cucina dotata di tutto il necessario a disposizione degli ospiti: adatta per colazioni, merende o pasti veloci per max 3 persone.
La signora Maria è gentilissima e molto accogliente. Tiene la casa in maniera impeccabile: ordinatissima e pulitissima.
Abbonamento mezzi pubblici incluso. Filobus nr 7 comodissimo per il centro: non abbiamo mai usato l'auto.

We`ve had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay here in Lucerne.
Many thanks for being so friendly and helpful. We were very lucky with the weather,
particulary for our trip on the lake and our day on Stanserhorn. The B&B is an excellent location - very peaceful,
but with a regular bus service into town and a very handy restaurant next door.

We spent our "Swiss" holiday with Maria in April.
Surely we could not have picked a better place to stay. Maria was a perfect host. She is incredibly hospitable
and kind and on top of that she is funny and open and gives you all the information you need.
The room was perfectly tidy, beds equipped with perfect mattrasses. The service in this BnB is excellent.
Dear Maria, we spent lovely days in your BnB, an oasis of quietness and hospitality.
We can absolutely recommend this accommodation to everyone! You won`t regret it!

Great B&B with a welcoming, kind, charming and professional host.
The beds were exceptionally comfortable with warm duvets and
